VENDORS

There will be a vending village for local businesses to represent their goods and services.  A limited number of vendors are invited to display their products and services for $50 per 10’ X 10’ Space.

SPONSORS

The meal packages cost $ 0.25 making the total cost $5,000 for 20,000 meals. 
We propose to launch a collective effort between the competing colleges, local civic groups and a handful of philanthropic sponsors to seek funding for the event.  Sponsorship packages will be available until November 1st.

VOLUNTEERS

These are the teams of volunteers that will be needed to assist in the production and promotion of the “Food Fight” concert/ meal-packaging event.  Please contact Lenny at (434)316-3247 or email lennycraig@gmail.com if you would like to be part of our team!


Before the Event  
Street Team: Distribute fliers & posters, sell tickets
Set-up:    Prepare the venue week-of-show, set up tables, chairs, trashcans, and recycling bins
Event Day  
Food Packaging: Keep packaging lines stocked with food, encourage teamwork, load packaged meals onto truck
   
Security:  Manage parking lots, direct traffic to entrance, control access in and out of venue and keep the peace
   
Gates: Keep track of volunteer and band guest lists, sell tickets, put on wristbands
Beer/Wine Garden:     Check ID’s, pour beer and wine, keep garden clean
Entertainment: Load in/ load out, set up/ run sound and lights, load-out
After the Event  
Clean-Up: Move trash & recycling to proper containers, fold/load tables and chairs, sweep, mop
